About Diwali
Across Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November 2026, audiences are invited to experience culture, creativity and community through a vibrant Diwali Market, live traditional dance, interactive dance workshops, immersive big-screen shows and a shared diya-lighting moment. At the heart of the celebration will be an immersive big-screen experience bringing five stories of Diwali to life, from the cosmic Samudra Manthan and Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya to Lord Krishna and Satyabhama’s defeat of Narakasura, Lord Mahavira’s attainment of nirvana in Jainism, and the Sikh celebration of Bandi Chhor Divas, commemorating Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s release alongside 52 kings. Together, these stories showcase the diverse cultural and spiritual traditions behind Diwali and its enduring message of light, freedom, hope and the triumph of good over evil.
